The 'Minitaur' Climbs Fences and Opens Doors With Adorable Ease

The Philadelphia company's Minitaur robot uses "high torque motors, motor controllers, and specialized leg design" to climb and bounce its way to the top. It can hit four and a half mph, around the speed of a brisk human stroll. With multiple onboard sensors and resolution encoders, the Minitaur can maintain a sense of awareness of its surroundings.
